About Us
The Friends of Providence Animal Care & Control Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Providence Animal Shelter. Since 2011 the organization has been fostering the humane care of animals in the City of Providence.
The Friends of PACCC is an all-volunteer organization and all money raised directly benefits the pets at the Providence Animal Shelter. We raise funds for animal enrichment programs, toys, and other items that help minimize the stress associated with a shelter environment, ultimately resulting in successful adoptions.
Just imagine going to the Providence Animal Shelter and seeing dogs stretched out on beds and blankets surrounded by toys, or cats playing or relaxing in kitty condos. What better visual for potential adopters to see?
